Coradiant Inc., a leading Internet infrastructure and performance management company, today announced that Brian Bowyer has joined the company as the senior vice president of engineering and operations.

Bowyer joins Coradiant from VIPswitch, a developer of switches and routers for Metropolitan Area Networks, where he held the position of Sr. VP Product Development and Program Management. In this role, he was responsible for all product research and development, manufacturing operations, supply-chain management, program management and quality assurance for the company’s 2.5-terabit IP over Ethernet switches and routers. Before that, Bowyer was Sr. VP Engineering and Product Management at Tecsys Inc., developing enterprise software for supply chain management. Prior to Tecsys, Bowyer was VP Engineering at DY4 Systems (C-MAC/Solectron), a provider of high performance processing solutions for real-time embedded applications, where he oversaw many products through the development phase to commercial release. He has also spent five years at Honeywell (AlliedSignal) and eight years at General Dynamics (Control Data Corp). During his tenure at AlliedSignal, he served as Director Program Management, Marketing Account Director and Product Line Director.
Bowyer holds a Bachelor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering honors degree from University of Bath in the UK and has conducted postgraduate studies at Concordia University in Montreal and Thunderbird University in Phoenix. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Tecsys, Inc. (Nasdaq: TCYSF).
