GlassHouse Technologies, Inc., the leading provider of independent storage services and consulting, today announced the appointment of Brian Ritchie to the post of Senior Vice President of Sales. “Brian’s experience in the storage and biopharmaceutical industries will help propel GlassHouse to the next level of service to our clients, who look to us to provide the highest caliber of vendor-neutral storage services,” said Mark Shirman, President and CEO of GlassHouse Technologies, Inc. “I am proud to add Brian to a very strong management team.”
GlassHouse provides unbiased guidance to companies as they formulate and implement storage strategies that support business objectives. “Our clients would like to manage their data based on its importance to their businesses. They want the right level of access, protection and management for that level of importance,” said Brian Ritchie, Senior Vice President of Sales, GlassHouse Technologies, Inc. “We help clients classify data by business value, and design and implement storage environments that provide cost-effective protection at every level of value. When data and storage policies are aligned, companies can focus on business rather than worry about hardware or software products.”
GlassHouse, which does not sell hardware or software, offers services and consulting that help clients identify the operational and cost performance of their current environments, establish policies and procedures to realize the benefits of investments in storage, and evaluate emerging technologies. GlassHouse’s proprietary methodologies support its Storage Management Lifecycle approach to developing and delivering effective, efficient storage infrastructures, enabling clients to rationalize purchases, optimize value at risk (VaR), ROI and TCO, and drive continuous operational improvement. GlassHouse also offers Storage Education to train clients and other IT personnel responsible for optimizing and scaling new or existing storage environments, Solution Maintenance to regularly assess performance metrics, and proof-of-concept testing and validation through its Storage Interoperability Lab Service.
