The move marks an increase in expert coverage in the metro region to support the company’s growing roster of clients.
Werrell joins GlassHouse from Cambridge Technology Partners, where he served as New England Regional Director. Prior to joining Cambridge, he held management positions with Cap Gemini and Oracle Corporation in the United Kingdom.

“Demand for our consulting and services expertise in the New York and tri-state metro area is exploding,” said Mark Shirman, CEO and President of Glasshouse Technologies, Inc. “Regulatory pressure and compliance issues have led many companies to realize the necessity of developing a strategic approach to guaranteeing the availability and security of stored data. GlassHouse’s proven methodology helps clients ensure that their storage environments are predictable, manageable, and auditable,” he concluded.
“Regulations like Sarbanes-Oxley and SEC 17a 3-4 have put a great deal of pressure on CIOs and their staffs to develop sound policies and procedures for storing and retrieving data reliably and securely,” said Richard Scannell, Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy, Glasshouse Technologies, Inc. “Using the GlassHouse Storage Management LifecycleSM as a framework, we objectively assess our clients’ storage operations to help them prepare to meet the obligations of the many guidelines and regulations being enacted,” he added.
Werrell and Lippman will serve regional clients from the company’s 95 Morton Street, New York, NY 10014 office. They can be reached at 212.905.3025.
