Enpocket, the leading provider of mobile marketing solutions, has delivered more than 200 million mobile customer interactions in the first six months of 2004 through the Enpocket Engine, the world’s most widely used mobile marketing software.
(Enpocket defines a customer interaction as a two-way SMS / MMS interaction or a single WAP or Java session).
To support the growing volumes of customer activity Enpocket has opened new offices in Minneapolis, Minnesota (US) and in Milan (Italy) to add to its existing headquarters in New York and operations in London, Helsinki, Palo Alto and Los Angeles.
Enpocket’s software business has experienced rapid growth in 2004 with an upsurge in demand from mobile operators and brands alike. Additionally Enpocket’s expertise in MMS has boosted revenues. It sent more than 1 million MMS messages in the first half of the year.
“Already this year we have successfully built deeper relationships with mobile operators and brands across the globe. This has accounted for a surge in the volume of customer interactions delivered through the Enpocket Engine,” said Jonathon Linner, CEO, Enpocket.
“Our expansion enables us to continue providing our growing roster of clients with the most robust mobile marketing software and an unrivalled mix of analytic and strategic services,” added Linner.
Massimo de Magistris, VP sales, will head up Enpocket’s interests in Southern Europe. Previously Massimo headed up Engages Inc.’s successful Italian operation and held senior positions within advertising agencies such as BBDO and Benetton.
Scott Pearson, VP Sales, will spearhead the new business drive in the US Midwest from the Minneapolis office. Scott joins from SunGuard Securities Processing, a leading financial software solutions company. As VP Sales, Scott managed revenue streams from 65 financial service clients. Prior to SunGuard, Scott has worked in a number of senior roles within technology, financial and investment banking organisations. Enpocket has more than 400 clients across four continents. It recently won Gold and Silver at the CRM Awards for the work it has done with Orange to build customer understanding of mobile Internet services via an intelligent SMS, MMS and WAP push mobile messaging program.
