Enpocket Eden powers global uptake of mobile chat and dating

Enpocket, the global mobile media company, has announced that Eden, its leading mobile chat and dating application, has now been deployed in 13 countries across North America, Europe and Asia. Eden (Enpocket Dating Engine), previously known as DateTrak, has been licensed by more than 20 operators across the globe and has established a proven track record for generating higher average revenue per user (ARPU).

Eden allows mobile subscribers to search for users matching their profile wherever they go. It has enabled brands, such as Match.com in the US and Time Out in the UK, to broaden their reach. Eden can also be branded for local markets; Trak-Ur-Mate in India (Airtel), Ya Ryadom in Russia (Sonic Duo) and Almas Gameas in Portugal (Vodafone) are examples of friend finding and dating services created specifically for operators.

With the widespread use of colour screen mobile phones, Eden is increasingly being deployed with MMS as a major feature, allowing users to upload their own photos and view pictures of potential dates. Location based options can also be turned on, enabling subscribers to chat to others in their area.

In December 2004 an independent Enpocket Insight survey conducted by ICM asked the public what services they were interested in with the advent of 3G. It revealed that 25% of phone owners interested in chat / dating services said they would use the applications every day of the week.

Eden can be delivered with numerous user interfaces such as SMS, MMS, WAP, J2ME, Symbian and i-Mode that all link into a shared and secure database.

Enpocket provides customers with other brandable affinity applications for building mobile communities such as mBlog and Total Football. It also delivers mobile marketing services to drive customer acquisition and retention.
