Enpocket Appoints Dr. Changfeng Wang as Chief Scientist

Enpocket (www.enpocket.com), the global leader in intelligent mobile marketing, today announced that the company has appointed Dr. Changfeng Wang as Chief Scientist. Having previously served as Chief Scientist for Harte-Hanks, Wang brings to Enpocket a wealth of knowledge on analytical modeling, personalization engine development, customer data integration, and advanced consumer profiling. As Chief Scientist at Enpocket, Wang will oversee the development of the company’s pioneering predictive analytics-based mobile marketing solution, which enables the world’s mobile operators to target content, marketing messages, and mobile ads so they are more personally relevant to consumers.

While at Harte-Hanks, Dr. Wang led the development of the company’s next generation event-based marketing system, which helped maximize the impact of direct marketing programs. Prior to his role at Harte-Hanks, Dr. Wang held positions at Thinking Machines Corporation (now part of Oracle), and Ascential Software (now part of IBM) and at online behavioral targeting pioneer Engage, Inc., where he pioneered on-line predictive modeling. Wang received his PhD in Computational Learning from the University of Pennsylvania.
