Paramount Pictures selects Enpocket to power mobile marketing for major film release

Enpocket, the Intelligent Mobile Marketing™ company, today announced it has created “Love Predictor” a mobile marketing service for Paramount Pictures.  Enpocket has delivered the service for the release of the film Stardust, showing in UK cinemas from 19th October.

The Stardust Love Predictor will be rolled out across Paramount’s global mobile network with UK, Spanish, German, Swedish, Dutch and Danish versions included on country specific Stardust mobile internet sites.

In tune with the film’s strong theme of destiny, Love Predictor enables consumers to enter names and birthdates to find out how well matched they are with the object of their hearts desire.

“The mobile mechanic fits perfectly with the core demographic of the film, principally 14 – 30 year old females.  We see mobile as a key channel to help build anticipation and engagement around major feature film releases,” said Heath Tyldesley, Director Interactive Marketing, Paramount Pictures.

The Stardust mobile internet site will be promoted on shortcodes on outdoor, online and press media in territories which include the UK, Ireland, Germany, France and Australia.  Consumers can simply text “go Stardust” to 85080 and receive a link to the Stardust Mobile Internet Site. where they can use the Love Predictor and download themed mobile content from the film.

Stardust follows Tristan (Charlie Cox) a young man on his quest to find a fallen star (Claire Danes) and bring it back to the woman he loves in order to prove his love for her. The film boasts an all star cast which includes Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, Peter O’Toole and Sienna Miller. It was based upon the novel by Neil Gaiman and directed by Matthew Vaughan (production maestro for Snatch and Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels).

One of the early advertisers in the mobile channel, Paramount has also been promoting new film releases, such as Transformers and Hot Rod, by running mobile banner ads with Enpocket on carrier-grade media in the US.
