Vela Systems Signs Three New Distribution Agreements With Primavera Resellers and Consultants

Vela Systems, a developer of mobile software that streamlines field administration for the AEC (Architecture-Engineering-Construction) industry, today announced three new distributor agreements for its Vela Software Suite, which will continue Vela’s rapid expansion into the Southeast, the Midwest, the Southwest, New England, the Mid-Atlantic states, and the Caribbean. The three contracts were signed with Plano, Texas-based Innovative Management Systems (IMS), Miami-based Miami Micro Data, and Detroit-based PMA Consultants. Vela Systems’ mobile software streamlines and accelerates field administration processes in construction, capital projects and capital equipment management. By replacing the paper and clipboard normally used by field personnel with the easy-to-use Vela Software Suite and Tablet PCs, customers save time, reduce risk, and increase profitability. The Vela Software Suite includes multiple modules, each facilitating and accelerating a specific field administration process of the architecture, engineering and construction industry professional. Just as field personnel have used separate pages in a notebook to accomplish each task, project teams use a Vela module focused on specific functions and addressing such things as work lists, field repairs, punch lists, safety issues and other areas. Vela’s modules do more than replace paper, they also incorporate electronic plans and documents, photos and even voice recordings to ensure field information is accurately captured and quickly distributed to all relevant parties. Vela Systems’ software is a stand-alone system that needs no other applications to deliver strong results to customers. However, Vela Systems does automatically integrate with Primavera for field data collection and management, as well as for complete project and activity scheduling.
