AOL and StubHub Extend Their User Experiences and Brands on Mobile Devices with uLocate’s WHERE™

As consumer interest in the wireless sector continues to grow, WHERE, the world’s first mobile GPS widget platform, is pleased to announce that additional content has been added to its leading platform offering users further opportunities to customize their mobile lifestyles. AOL and StubHub are among those companies that have debuted WHERE widgets within the past 30 days. AOL’s AIM ® service recently launched the AIM® Buddy Finder widget on WHERE. The widget allows users to set and share their locations with their AIM® buddies from their GPS-enabled phones. Users can see the location on a MapQuest® map of friends who’ve chosen to share their locations using the AIM Buddy Finder widget. This new widget extends the reach of AIM into the mobile social networking space and is the first cross carrier, mobile friend finding application capable of connecting millions of potential users. StubHub, an eBAY company, is the largest ticket marketplace in the world. StubHub enables fans to buy and sell tickets at fair market value to a vast selection of sporting, concert, theater and other live entertainment events. The StubHub widget on WHERE helps users discover and find events that are going on around them. Users have easy access to StubHub’s telesales agents and can order tickets immediately. WHERE’s addition of the AIM Buddy Finder and StubHub widgets to their platform demonstrates the diverse capabilities of location-enabled content in the wireless market. These launches also amplify WHERE’s ability as a platform to provide consumers with a single source for multiple applications from brands consumers trust. “The AIM and StubHub widgets on WHERE represent significant milestones in our commitment to provide users with content that helps them make the most of their mobile lifestyles,” said Walt Doyle, CEO of uLocate Communications. “The choices of content available on WHERE continues to grow and we look forward to working with more top-tier brands to bring their content to WHERE in the coming months.”
