(BUSINESS WIRE)–GlassHouse Technologies, a global provider of independent IT infrastructure consulting and services, has been honored as a top private technology company by Nollenberger Capital Partners, Inc. (NCPI). Based on proprietary and industry-wide analysis, NCPI’s Investment Banking team selected 200 private Technology companies that it believes will achieve a liquidity event or raise capital at an uptick valuation in the next 12 to 36 months.
“We see GlassHouse as a company on the rise based on the business decisions made and growth the company has experienced over the last year,” said Rick Juarez, managing director, and head of its securities of investment banking for Nollenberger Capital Partners. “The recent filing of a registration statement for the public offering, coupled with the acquisitions, partnerships and new services announcements over the last year make GlassHouse a well-deserved recipient.”
Over the past year GlassHouse’s growth was marked by the filing of a registration statement covering its common stock with the Securities and Exchange Commission on December 18, 2008. In the offering, GlassHouse identified three primary growth markets – virtualization, storage services, and green data centers – as core focus areas. GlassHouse has strong expertise in these areas, which represent a $70 billion addressable market opportunity by 2010.
GlassHouse also announced in March 2008 a partnership with Dell Inc. The partnership includes an investment by Dell and provides Dell with access to GlassHouse’s intellectual property, sales and marketing resources over a three-year period. GlassHouse continues to expand its services offerings with the release of the Accelerate methodology. The new and innovative four-phase methodology, modeled to meet the challenges of today’s IT departments, focuses on common infrastructure challenges such as: data center migrations, virtualization projects, disaster recovery and tape elimination.
“We are truly honored to be included in the Nollenberger top 200 in 2008,” said Mark Shirman, president and CEO of GlassHouse. “The distinction re-affirms GlassHouse’s value proposition and the need for the consulting services we offer our customers. We look forward to strengthening our line of services through additional offerings, enhanced partnerships and acquisitions that will build the GlassHouse brand.”
