Colubris Appoints Peter Minihane as COO and CFO

In this role, Minihane will oversee the company’s business and financial operations in order to further solidify Colubris’ footprint in the WLAN market and ensure the company is ideally positioned to capitalize on the imminent 802.11n opportunity. “Peter’s extensive operational and financial experience make him an invaluable addition to our management team and optimally suited to help Colubris continue to increase its share of the enterprise WLAN market,” said Rob Scott, president and CEO of Colubris. “As Colubris rapidly expands its market presence and customer base, Peter will play a prominent leadership role in scaling our internal operations and driving new business initiatives that position the company for continued success.” Minihane brings 35 years of experience building and overseeing high-growth technology companies, with extensive experience leading IPOs, venture financings, mergers and acquisitions. Most recently, Peter was CFO/COO of StarBak Communications, a streaming media company, where he led the company through multiple financing rounds with major venture capital investors. Prior to StarBak, Minihane served in roles ranging from president, COO and CFO for Visual Networks, a leading provider of performance management systems for wide area networks, where he spearheaded an IPO, multiple acquisitions and a merger. Previously, Peter was EVP, CFO and COO at Microcom, a remote access company, where he led a successful IPO and later a merger with Compaq.
