Colubris Networks, a company that has developed a multi-service wireless system of centralized management, service control appliances, security gateways and wireless access devices, and PanGo Networks, a provider of location-based systems for enterprise wireless LANs, on Tuesday announced a global technology, sales and marketing agreement to provide mobile health care solutions.
The solution combines PanGo’s location-aware system with Colubris’ multi-service, enterprise wireless LAN system, allowing hospital staff to track critical medical equipment, key personnel and patients faster, the companies announced.
Colubris and PanGo say the combination is ideal for institutions seeking to implement mobile asset tracking and dispatch applications on wireless LANs to deliver location-relevant information to healthcare professionals.
