Coradiant Launches Site Security Assessment Services

Coradiant, Inc., a leading Internet infrastructure and performance management company, today announced its new Site Security Assessment services, to identify security vulnerabilities within a company’s Web infrastructure and network operating environment. The Site Security Assessment service gives customers the option of either on-site or remote testing of their site’s security and vulnerability, targeting the customer’s Web-based infrastructure and surrounding processes.

“The overall goal of Coradiant’s Site Security Assessment service is to act as an independent and knowledgeable third party, to objectively observe an organization’s network security, and to help them identify corrective methods in order to eliminate site security risks,” said Jean-Francois Dumoulin, chief operations officer at Coradiant. “Our assessment services are narrowly focused on the Web-based infrastructures on which enterprises rely; our background as a network infrastructure and security analyst firm puts us in the right space to be able to help businesses further their goals in protecting and securing their network and Web operations.”

The Site Security Assessment identifies potential security vulnerabilities based upon the objectives of the organization, and what it is trying to secure. The assessment is often used to proactively implement security controls during the deployment of a Web-based application or connectivity into the Web cluster. After the investigation, Coradiant provides an analysis and description of the security issues found during the assessment, with recommendations on how the organization can address the issues and undertake corrective actions. If requested, Coradiant will perform the corrective action.

The assessment and testing programs ensure complete confidentiality and protection of sensitive information throughout the engagement. Coradiant’s technical staff does not perform illegal activities on systems external or internal to a company’s network during the penetration test, and information obtained is treated as confidential and proprietary. Release forms and liability documents are covered and signed prior to any penetration test engagement.

Site Security Assessment services can be offered in conjunction with the security services that are part of Coradiant’s managed services offering. These services include server hardening, patch management, security monitoring, secure VPN, and dual redundant firewalls.
Coradiant has already provided site security assessments for several of its clients. For more information, please speak with a Coradiant representative for more details, visit www.coradiant.com, or call 1-(877)-731-7277.
