Coradiant, Inc., designer and manufacturer of the award-winning TrueSight Real-time, Real-user Web Transaction Monitoring appliances, today announced the appointment of Khalil Barsoum to its board of directors. Barsoum was elected to Coradiant’s board effective November 1, 2004. Khalil’s 35-year career at IBM included assignments as chairman and chief executive of IBM UK, and as president and chief executive of IBM Canada. Barsoum is a member of the board of directors of Sistecar, parent Company of Cartesis, member of the advisory board of Air2Web of Atlanta and advisor to IBM Corporation.
Barsoum began his career at IBM in 1966 after graduating with a degree in electrical engineering from Ecole Polytechnique, Montreal. Barsoum was recognized during Ecole Polytechnique’s 125th anniversary as one of its eight most distinguished living graduates. Barsoum is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario, l’Ordre des Ingenieurs du Quebec, and Chartered Engineer (Fellow) of the Institution of Electrical Engineers, United Kingdom.
