Coradiant, Inc.™, a leader in real-user monitoring equipment for data center applications, today announced that it has added senior leadership in its engineering, marketing and finance operations with the addition of three new vice presidents. Steve Hunt joins as vice president of engineering, Tom Clarkson joins as vice president of marketing, and Andy Kaiser joins as vice president of finance, and each will report to Coradiant’s chairman of the board and chief executive officer, Brett Helm.
“Coradiant’s TrueSight products are creating a paradigm shift in the marketplace, by making it possible for businesses to measure and respond to actual Web performance as experienced by individual users in real time,” Helm said. “Steve, Andy and Tom have all proven themselves in building new market categories in the data center and web application performance segments. The addition of these experienced, talented veterans, combined with our recent round of venture funding, will ensure Coradiant’s success in the emerging real-user monitoring category.”
As vice president of engineering, Hunt has been tapped to capitalize on Coradiant’s unique session-level networking technology in leading-edge data center and web infrastructure products. He has more than 20 years of experience developing high-speed networking equipment and previously served as vice president of engineering at Netsift, Inc. Hunt was also the senior vice president of engineering and general manager of Copper Mountain Network’s carrier division and, prior to that, spent 16 years at Bell Labs. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. Hunt holds three patents in the area of networking equipment.
Clarkson brings over two decades of experience in the networking and wireless technology fields and will lead Coradiant’s marketing initiatives as the company looks to develop new growth opportunities for its award-winning TrueSight™ real-user monitoring products. Prior to Coradiant, Clarkson was vice president of marketing at IPivot and also served in multiple positions at Intel, including running marketing operations for the company’s network equipment division. He has founded two companies including Wireless Knowledge and Graphic Software Systems, served as vice president of sales and marketing for Qualcomm’s Eudora email software division, and was vice president of multimedia marketing at Brooktree. Clarkson also held engineering positions at Tektronix and at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics at Wake Forest University and a Master of Science in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Kaiser has extensive experience taking startup companies to maturity and is a 15-year industry veteran. Kaiser has managed the accounting, human resources, contracts and purchasing departments of several San Diego-based startups and held previous positions with IPivot, Primary Access, and WireCache. Kaiser earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree at the University of Wisconsin at Madison and a Master of Business Administration degree from Marquette University.
