Enpocket, the leading mobile marketing solution provider, has appointed Paul Ruck as Vice President of Sales. The appointment supports Enpocket’s commitment to the exploding US market.
Ruck joins Enpocket from Bluestreak where, as Executive Director of Sales, he contributed to its dramatic revenue growth and was responsible for managing online direct marketing strategies for many high profile brand name accounts.
Prior to his role at Bluestreak, Ruck was Vice President of Sales at Engage where he grew the sales team from six to over 40 in under 20 months. His career has spanned online and offline media sales and before joining Engage, Ruck was Group Advertising Director at Miller Freeman Inc.
Jonathon Linner, CEO, Enpocket said: “Paul has an outstanding track record of successful online media and analytics sales. Having worked closely with him at AdKnowledge and Engage, we are confident that he is the ideal person to lead the Enpocket team in delivering mobile solutions to marketers and agencies realising the benefits of this new mass medium.”
Enpocket, which recently announced that it had acquired the technology and IP of the early US market leader, SkyGo, has a broad-ranging client base in Europe and the US including Levi’s, Nike and McDonalds. In December 2003 it was awarded the first ever Direct Marketing Association (DMA) Award for mobile marketing for its work with UK mobile operator Orange.
