Enpocket, the Intelligent Mobile MarketingTM company, today announced that it has been named a finalist in the 4th Annual MITX Technology Awards. The MITX What’s Next Forum & Technology Awards recognize innovative technologies developed in the New England area, as well as the individuals and organizations responsible for driving these advancements. The Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange (MITX) is the region’s premier association for thought leadership, technology trends, business networking and professional training and development
The Enpocket Platform is a carrier-grade mobile advertising campaign management and delivery system for mobile operators. The Platform combines multi-modal mechanics including SMS, MMS, mobile Internet advertising, and video with predictive analytics to deliver the highest ROI mobile advertising. It can import more than 100 demographic and behavioral attributes that can be used for advanced profiling and targeting. Data sources include subscriber demographic data, behavioral data like WAP click stream, self-profiling, external lists, and purchase history. As a result, campaigns can be targeted to individual consumers based on a number of parameters, including demographic, interests, downloads, search terms, day/time and geography.
“We’re pleased to be honored by MITX among a diverse group of Massachusetts innovators,” said Mike Baker, Enpocket president and CEO. “The Enpocket Platform is used by mobile operators and brands around the world, and it’s great to have one of our home associations recognize it as well.”
“The regional economy is showing real strength, and it’s in no small part due to the resurgence in the technology sector and the innovation that fuels so much of the growth,” said Kiki Mills, executive director of MITX. “The MITX Technology Awards are a wonderful opportunity to recognize the companies that are leading the way and to celebrate their accomplishments and that of the entire technology community.”
Enpocket will be recognized with the other finalists in the category of Mobile at an awards ceremony attended by the region’s top technology and business professionals. Winners will be announced at the ceremony at the Four Seasons Hotel in Boston on Tuesday, June 5, 2007. This year’s keynote speaker and special honoree is Tim Berners-Lee, Director of the World Wide Web Consortium.
The ceremony is preceded by the What’s Next Forum, a forward-looking discussion, titled “What’s Next for The Device Web – Emerging User Experiences,” about the exciting new world is coming the consumer’s way that will provide them with a range of new, very rich experiences.
