Enpocket, the Intelligent Mobile MarketingTM company, has been selected as winner in the category of Mobile for the 2007 MITX Technology Awards. The MITX Technology Awards, presented by the Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange, recognize innovative technologies developed in the New England area, as well as the individuals and organizations responsible for driving these advancements. Honorees for this year’s awards were announced last night in a ceremony at The Four Season’s Hotel in Boston.

“We have been extremely impressed with the breadth and quality of the nominations this year. They show incredible innovation across a variety of sectors and highlight the vitality of our local technology community,” said Kiki Mills, executive director of MITX. “As we continue to enjoy a surge in technology investments in New England, we are proud to showcase the contributions our community is making to global technology development.”

This is Enpocket’s first award for the innovative technology that drives the Enpocket Platform, a carrier-grade mobile advertising campaign management and delivery system. The Platform can deliver targeted mobile advertising across multiple formats including SMS, MMS, mobile Internet advertising, and video.  The Platform leverages predictive analytics for high ROI mobile advertising. Other nominees in the category of Mobile were Third Screen Media, Skyhook Wireless, Nellymoser, Pyxis Mobile and uLocate.

“We’re very pleased to be honored for our technology by MITX, especially among such a talented group of finalists,” said Mike Baker, Enpocket president and CEO. “The Enpocket Platform is used by mobile operators and brands around the world, and it’s great to have one of our home associations recognize it as well.”
