GlassHouse Technologies, Inc, the leading provider of independent storage consulting and services, announced today the acquisition of CycleBridge Technologies, a Framingham-based consultancy providing data management and integration expertise to technology and healthcare organizations. As part of the acquisition Janie Tremlett, a principal partner in CycleBridge, will join GlassHouse as Vice President of Corporate Development
Tremlett has extensive experience helping healthcare and biotechnology companies solve complex data management challenges, inclusive of compliance and regulatory issues. She will be responsible for expanding GlassHouse offerings, productizing the company’s services, and further developing company strategy. GlassHouse clients will benefit from Tremlett’s focus on the development of mature, best practices-based services that take into account organizational business drivers. She succeeds Richard Scannell, who has been promoted to the post of Senior Vice President – North American Consulting.
CycleBridge’s business, which counts clients such as IBM, Infinity Pharmaceuticals, and Phase Forward, will be integrated into GlassHouse’s operations.
Tremlett brings 25 years in IT experience to her new position, including stints in data management and as a CIO. She is responsible for bringing more than 50 successful commercial software initiatives to market. Prior to founding CycleBridge Tremlett was a founder of Breakaway Solutions, CTO/VP of R&D for Commercialware; CIO at Commonwealth Financial Network, and CIO at Work Family Directions. At CycleBridge, Tremlett focused on developing strategy and growth programs for a variety of software and service companies. She holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Union College and an M.B.A. from Syracuse University.

GlassHouse, which has grown rapidly in three years to become the industry leader in independent storage services and consulting, made its last acquisition in June 2003 with the purchase of Auspex’s Customer Support Services group. That deal brought more than 200 Auspex service clients into the GlassHouse fold and added a full-service call center capability to GlassHouse’s offerings.
