GlassHouse Technologies, Inc. Named “Cool Vendor” by Leading Analyst Firm

GlassHouse Technologies, Inc. has been included in the list of “Cool Vendors” in the “Cool Vendors in IT Management, Sourcing and IT Services” report by Gartner, Inc. (authored by B. Pring, R. Brown, A. Couture, M. Cantara, and R. Scholl, March 9, 2004).

GlassHouse, a leading provider of services that help organizations solve the business problems of enterprise storage, was one of four companies listed in the Gartner Report, which covered IT management vendors whose innovation provided competitive advantage. Vendors highlighted in the report were cited for their ability to thrive in tough times by employing strategies that reflect industry themes such as cost reduction, optimization and interoperability.

“We consider this report signifies Gartner’s recognition of GlassHouse’s impact on the storage and IT market,” said Mark Shirman, President and CEO, GlassHouse Technologies, Inc. “Clients including Pitney-Bowes and Guardian Life Insurance represent just a few of the enterprises in the financial services, health care, bio-pharm, life sciences and technology sectors that also recognize the impact of GlassHouse’s vendor-independent services,” Shirman added. “We have developed repeatable methodologies, an unparalleled process and procedures framework – the GlassHouse Storage Management LifecycleSM – and assembled a world-class delivery team that consistently exceeds the expectations of our 300 worldwide blue-chip clients,” Shirman concluded.
