By introducing a pioneering software application into The Charleston development process, LCOR is able to accelerate closings and deliver owners a new standard of customer satisfaction. LCOR is the first residential developer in Manhattan to utilize the Vela Systems’ highly efficient owner walkthrough mobile software specifically designed to streamline and speed up the closing process and delivery of fully finished residences.

Through a unique combination of technical capabilities, Vela Systems replaces traditional paper drawings and clipboard check lists with easy-to-use software installed on mobile devices such as Tablet PCs, enabling LCOR construction and sales teams to work faster, collaborate easier, and finish sooner. Owner walk-through punch lists are entered into the software and immediately generate reports, contractor follow-up lists and pin-point location maps of each room in every residence identifying all items that need to be addressed and completed for closing. The process is wholly and clearly documented for all participants and precludes the re-writing and distribution of punch list and follow-up items to the various parties concerned.
