Incipient, Inc., a leading provider of intelligent switch-resident storage software, announced that seasoned sales executive Mike Morando has joined the Company as Senior Vice President of Sales. Mike, in his new position, will drive global sales programs with strategic Incipient business partners in addition to creating new opportunities for the company.
Morando brings to Incipient more than 20 years of OEM sales and business development leadership experience in the networking and storage industries. Prior to joining Incipient, Morando was responsible for Strategic Software Alliances at Brocade Communications (NasdaqNM:BRCD) where he headed efforts to recruit companies to develop software applications for the Brocade Fabric Application Platform (FAP). In this position, Morando was responsible for go-to-market strategies for the Brocade FAP. Prior to Brocade, he led sales and business development efforts for Rhapsody Networks (acquired by Brocade) and at Gadzoox Networks (IPO).
