In addition to its presence at IDUG North America, IT professionals can hear more about data virtualization at other upcoming industry events. During the week of June 3, 2008, xkoto will be at IBM Information on Demand Europe, at the World Forum, The Hague. Representatives will be present at booth #20, and xkoto customers InGrid, Inc. and Jumbo Tours will be featured in “Availability Options,” a presentation on Thursday, June 5 at 10:00 A.M. by IBM DB2 evangelist Dwaine Snow. xkoto will also be at Microsoft’s Tech-Ed IT Professionals conference June 9-13, 2008, in booth #1030. At this event, the company will offer a sneak peek at GRIDSCALE for SQL Server, which is scheduled to be announced in September.
Additionally, Albert Lee, xkoto co-founder and chief strategy officer will participate on the Virtualization 2.0 panel at the Next Generation Data Center Conference at the Moscone Center in San Francisco in August. The session will provide attendees with a better understanding of where virtualization is headed and how it will be used to enable applications rather than being used solely for server consolidation.
